ITALIAN FORUM ON INDUSTRIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY AND BIOECONOMY (IFIB) 2015
From biotechnology new resources for industry
1. AIMS AND SCOPE
Assobiotec, the Italian Association for the development of biotechnology, which is part of Federchimica, Innovhub-SSI and the Italian Biocatalysis Center, in collaboration with PTP Science Park and Banca Popolare di Lodi, invite companies and research centers to the 5th edition of the Italian Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) which will be held on 24th-25th September 2015 in Lodi (Italy). The workshop is aimed at making a survey of research and industrial projects in the biotechnology field with the goal to strengthen the biotech network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote industry-industry and industry-university partnerships.
2. VENUE
IFIB 2015 will be held at the Auditorium of Banca Popolare di Lodi, via Polenghi Lombardo 13, Lodi (Italy).
3. REGISTRATION
Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Registration is mandatory through the website: www.ifib2015.talkb2b.net. The official language of the workshop will be English; no simultaneous translation will be provided.
4. WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Companies, universities, public and private research centers from the field of industrial biotech.
5. CALL FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS (Download Attachment)
Oral communications (A or B) A. This type of oral communication (10 minutes) will provide an opportunity for authors to display results of their work in the field of industrial biotech. The presentation should also include a short description of the scientific/technical expertise of the applicant (company/university/research center) and any request/offer for partnership. B. This type of oral communication (5 minutes) will provide an opportunity for non-biotech companies which aim at evaluating industrial biotech as a driver for the development of their business. The presentation should describe the scientific/technical expertise of the applicant and any request/offer for partnership.

6. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts must be submitted in English using exclusively the Abstract Form (download here). The abstract must be e-mailed (.doc, .docx, .rtf) by June 30th 2015 to: ifib@mi.camcom.it. The file must be named as follows: last name of the presenting author_affiliation_type of presentation (e.g. Last name_CompanyXYZ_A). E-mail subject must be labeled with IFIB 2015. Abstracts not prepared according to the instructions reported above or sent after the deadline will not be considered. Abstracts must contain the name of the presenting author, complete affiliation, telephone number and e-mail. For further information, please contact ifib@mi.camcom.it.
7. ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE
Abstracts will be selected by the Scientific Committee and authors will be informed on acceptance of their abstracts either for oral or poster presentation via e-mail by 31st July 2015.
