Assobiomedica, as member of Confindustria, represents entities supplying medical devices (MD) to Italy’s public and private healthcare facilities. The federation covers every concerns of the sector: chemical reagents and kits (ivd), all biomedical products (from heart valves and open heart surgery equipment, to implantable MD - pacemakers, hearing prostheses, defibrillators, stents and orthopaedic endoprostheses), electromedical equipment, equipment for operating and intensive care units, borderline MD, e-health and telemedicine. It promotes the cultural, social and economic value of innovation, research and technological development, and contributes to foster the whole Italian health system.
